2017 ADEC EXHIBITION BRUNSWICK VICTORIA

December 2017

On the 17th of December I had the honour of talking at the ADEC exhibition in Melbourne. My painting was featured on the front cover of their catalogue. I was asked to speak on my journey into the art world. It was such a pleasure and honour. I was very fortunate to win the 2017 ADEC award for this personal piece called ‘Hidden Pieces’ which is a smaller replicate of a piece I painted for my personal collection. It is my life. I am the turtle. Swinging through the ocean. Only forwards not backwards. The bright colour shell is my personality, my bright bubbly personality, I don’t do beige. There are hidden jig saw pieces in this artwork. These represent the missing pieces to finding a cure to Cancer and MS. I feel very humbled to receive such an award. Thank you. 🎨🎨🎨🎨
